In January 2012, Superlative Luxury unveils the most expensive t-shirt in the world. The said shirt, which costs $400,000 and 100% organic, features a special spherical pattern and studded with absolutely precious gems.

Eight of the precious gems designs were 1ct white diamonds and the other eight are extremely rare and hard to find black diamonds.

With the luxurious designs that the shirt is sporting, it is not surprising if it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars.

But would you believe that this $400K-Tee shirt from Superlative Luxury is not yet the most expensive shirt available in town? Yes, that’s true!

Just recently, YahooNews.com featured a soiling jersey that cost almost $3M. And the vintage clothing that we are referring to is no other than but the 92-year old professional-grade wool flannel jersey designed with just a simple logo in front that seems like it was crafted by an embroidery digitizer.

This most expensive jersey that is being claimed right now has been the uniform of an American baseball player named George Herman Ruth, Jr.  Aside from being known as “Babe” Ruth, he has also been called as “The Bambino” and “The Sultan of Swat” because of his hitting brilliance.

By the way, below is the picture of the most expensive t-shirt in the world that was designed by Superlative Luxury.

T-shirts today has become wearable art. By merely customizing them, one is able to express freely his or her views and feeling onto something. But because of the so called person’s freedom of expression, customized t-shirts often bring controversies especially when the design depicts hurtful meanings, offensive messages, or display racist imagery. I have below some controversial designs seen on plain t-shirts.

 The Controversial Sin Cara T-Shirts

The internet is bellowing over supposedly being able to see a phallic embedded in a gold design on Sin Cara’s new plain t-shirt. Aside from the controversial design, this plain t-shirts also comes with a description: “goteo de oro’ wherein once translated would mean ‘dripping with gold.’

The Controversial Jay-Z ‘Occupy All Streets’ T-Shirts

The fashion statement ‘Occupy All Streets’ that becomes a controversial design for this plain t- shirt was created to support the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ or populist movement. Designer of the plain t-shirts that Jay-Z wear reasoned out the statement simply informs the public that there is a change to be made everywhere.

The Controversial Twin Rivers T-Shirt

This controversial t-shirt design was created by the Twin Rivers Police, an organization of Californian police officers. The design, which drawn sharp criticism from community leaders and child advocates, depicts an image of a young child put behind on bars. This plain t-shirts also bears a controversial statement: “U raise ‘em, we cage ‘em.”

The Controversial CL’s T-Shirts

The leader of Korean female band 2NE1 was seen while on her way to Japan wearing a t-shirt with inciting statements like “F*ck Everything,” “Girl Friend from Hell,” and other sexual expressions.

Many of today’s tech devices are being offered in much affordable prices than ever so it is now easier for us to afford our covetable gadgets. In addition to affordability, the gadgets and gizmos introduced in the market nowadays are ergonomically designed so we no longer need to bring several devices as we can find several applications that are essential in our daily life in just one gadget.

Smart phones, iPhones, iPad tablet computers, and laptops that can be operated through a light touch on their screen – these are just some of the gadgets we have today. All these devices let us get in touch with our loved ones, experience entertainment, search or access information with great convenience, simplify their daily job and the likes. And whenever we invest much of our money in one thing, say for example a half thousand dollar worth of iPad tablet computer, our tendency is take care them well. As much as possible, we don’t want them to obtain even a very light single scratch that could lessen its value. This is exactly the reason why we look for a bag or case for them.

Sometimes we are not just contented with the designs of the bags available in a store so what we do is request for someone like an embroidery digitizer who can provide us the most unique bag embroidery designs for our much loved gadget. There are also some instances that we feel uncomfortable carrying a bag while strolling at the downtown. So for our gadgets storage, we simply maximize the pockets of the apparel.

But for devices like iPads wherein its size is among the common tablets failure, some clothing companies produce apparel with bigger pocket to accommodate bigger gizmos. Check out below for some styles of clothing that have built-in storage for larger size iPads.

Even before the introduction of fabrics, ancient people are already embroiderers. From the time they discovered the use of thread, which is to join the pieces of furs and make clothes, they are already doing a simple form of embroidery. Primitive men used a needle that is made from bone or wood. They also found that the thread can be used to connect tiny bones that serve as decorations.

But when men learned to wear clothes, which is according to history it was during Iron Age, they also discovered how to produce more beautiful embroidery designs using the same technique employed by primitive men but by that time, modern men are already using a more improved needle that is made from high-carbon steel wire. As Industrial Revolution came, this provides opportunities for embroiderers to discover other tools that will help speed up their embroidery process. Below are some of the greatest inventions in the field of embroidery.

Mechanical Sewing Machine – The discovery of sewing machine in early stages of the Industrial Revolution mimics hand embroidery. This equipment help embroiderers produce more beautiful embroidered products in a faster turnaround time than stitching it by hand.

Electronic Sewing Machine – When this sewing equipment is discovered, it creates a huge difference in the lives of men and women who are interested in embroidery. With electronic sewing machine, embroiderers are able to create patterns that are more impressively unique and creative than embroidery designs that have done before.

Computerized Embroidery Machine – A state-of-the-art equipment used by many of today’s embroiderers. With computerized embroidery machine, the embroiderer can easily produce beautiful designs and patterns, in large quantity. The user simply needs to connect it the machine with a computer through USB connection.

Embroidery Digitizing Software – A software program that helps embroiderers convert analog designs for embroidery (uploaded images from internet, custom made logo, photos, texts) to stitch file, which is the only required file format of computerized embroidery machine. The availability of this embroidery digitizing software makes it effortless for embroiderers to stitch highly intricate designs in faster turnaround time, which is impossible to make manually.

Most business owners of reputable companies require their employees to report in the office wearing a nice work uniform. They believe that a nice employee’s uniform for work, with a logo most commonly incorporated on the shirt through custom digitizing or printing plays crucial in establishing a good branding. A good branding is essential since it is the one that determines the credibility of the company in the mind of new customers.

Just a few months ago, a global research agency Millward Brown conducted a survey regarding the most valuable brands for 2011 and Apple topped the list with a brand value of $153.3 billion. In this category, almost all companies of various industries were surveyed.

However, in terms of specified category like apparel, Nike still remains the No. 1. I have below the other brands of apparel that belongs to the top ten list.

Nike

Brand value: $13.9 million

H&M

Brand value: $13,006 million

Zara

Brand value: $10,335 million

Ralph Lauren

Brand value: $3,378 million

Esprit

Brand value: $3,375 million

Adidas

Brand value: $3,088 million

Uniqlo

Brand value: $2,916 million

Next

Brand value: $2, 567 million

Hugo Boss

Brand value: $2,445 million

MetersBonwe

Should you want to popularize your brand name now, why don’t you consider custom digitizing your company logo and incorporate it in your employees work uniform? There are plenty of custom digitizing shops online who are always ready to render their service.
